Lions Class Sports Day
Lions' had a fantastic time taking part in KS1 sports day this morning. They showed fantastic sportsmanship by cheering on all of their friends. Well done to the green team for taking the winning trophy!
Lions Trip to YWP
Lions had a fantastic trip to YWP. We got to see lots of animals, including: lions, tigers, giraffes, a leopard, meerkats and capybaras. We really enjoyed the classroom session and lots of us were brave enough to hold Turbo and Shelby the giant snails, and Colin the cockroach. Well done Lions for a fantastic trip.
Lions Summer Term
In Lions class we have had an exciting start to the Summer term. We have been learning about plants in Science and went on a walk around the school grounds to spot different plants. We have also been investigating the best conditions for plants to grow and conducted our own experiment using cress. In Maths, we have been learning to share equally in groups and what a half is. In English, we have been practicing our days of the week and writing our own poem's based on the nonsense poem "On the Ning Nang Nong".
